The Louisiana Employees Appeal Amendment, also known as Amendment 48, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that the burden of proof, in a case involving an employee of the state, be placed on the employer.[1]
