The Louisiana Family Court Jurisdiction Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 1, 1994, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed to expand the jurisdiction of the family court enabling it to settle property disputes in divorce proceedings.[1][2]
