The Louisiana Juvenile Trial Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 6, 1979, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that, under certain conditions, juveniles may be tried as adults.[1][2]
