The Louisiana Local Sales Tax Collection Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 19, 1991, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that each locality have a single local sales tax collector even though local sales taxes may be levied by a number of different local authorities.[1][2]
