Louisiana Amendment 7 (Primary), also known as the Medicaid Trust Fund for the Elderly Act, was on the September 30, 2006, primary election ballot in Louisiana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. This measure proposed that a certain percentaige of Medicaid funds could be invested in stocks.[1][2]

The question on the ballot:

To authorize the investment in equities of up to thirty-five percent of the Medicaid Trust Fund for the Elderly. (Amends Article VII, Section 14(B))[3]
