The Louisiana New Orleans Property Redemption Amendment, also known as Amendment 14, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 21, 1995, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed to reduce, from three years to six months, the time allowed for an abandoned property sold by the City of New Orleans to be redeemed by the original owner.[1][2]
