The Louisiana New Orleans Traffic Court Jurisdiction Amendment, also known as Amendment 20, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed modifications to extend the jurisdiction of the traffic court of New Orleans to include violations that are punishable by state statute.[1]
