Louisiana Nonrecurring Funds Amendment (October 1993)

The Louisiana Nonrecurring Funds Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 16, 1993, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that nonrecurring funds must be spent to lower state debt. These funds could not be spent on recurring expenses.[1][2]
