Louisiana Oil Spill Contingency Fund Amendment (October 1995)

The Louisiana Oil Spill Contingency Fund Amendment, also known as Amendment 12, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 21, 1995, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure is designed to constitutionally protect the Oil Spill Contingency Fund so that it would not be subject to easy change by the legislature.[1][2]
