The Louisiana Prohibiting State Courts from Levying Taxes, Amendment 10, also known as Amendment 10, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 3, 1998, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment barred state courts from exercising taxation powers and ordering the Louisiana State Legislature and other government units to alter taxes.[1]
