The Louisiana Prohibits Local Inheritance Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 9, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that local governments should be prohibited from levying inheritance taxes.[1][2]
