The Louisiana Public Improvement Assessments Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Louisiana on February 1, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed constitutional modifications regarding the ability of political subdivisions to incur indebtedness and levy assessments for public improvements.[1]
