Louisiana Repeal Sections of Article XV Amendment (1972)

The Louisiana Repeal Sections of Article XV Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Louisiana on February 1, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed to repeal Sections 1 through 4 of Article XV of the constitution. These sections were concerned with drainage districts and the management of marsh and swamp lands. The repeal was contingent upon adoption of the proposed revisions to Article XIV of the constitution.[1]
