Louisiana Senate Legislative Services is a nonpartisan legislative services agency that serves the members and staff of the Louisiana State Senate.
Governance
Senate Legislative Services is governed by an executive director who oversees the day to day operations of the agency and the separate divisions of the agency.[1]
Divisions
Senate Legislative Services has four divisions:[1]
- Division 1: Insurance; Judiciary C, Labor and Industrial Relations
- Division 2: Commerce, Consumer Protection, International Affairs; Health & Welfare; Judiciary B, and Transportation
- Division 3: Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development; Education; Senate & Governmental Affairs; Retirement
- Division 4: Environmental Quality; Local & Municipal Affairs; Judiciary A; Natural Resources
