The Louisiana Unopposed Candidates Amendment, also known as Amendment 15, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that unopposed candidates could be declared elected without having to be included on the general election ballot.[1]
