The Louisiana Vehicle Inventory Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 6, 1984, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. This measure proposed that motor vehicles be exempt from ad valorem taxation at the state and parish level.[1]
