The Louisiana Veterans' Civil Service Preference Amendment, also known as Amendment 13, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 21, 1995, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure would permit the legislature, rather than the constitution, to indicate which conflicts qualify veterans for civil service preference.[1][2]
