The Louisiana Vietnam Bonus Bond Amendment, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed a $14 million bond issue to pay and administer a bonus to those who served in Vietnam.[1]
