The Louisiana Wetlands Fund Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 7, 1989, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure required that at least $5 million a year from state mineral revenue must be used to conserve Louisiana's wetlands.[1][2]
