The Louisiana Workers' Compensation Fund Amendment, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 20, 1999, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed to allow the Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corporation to participate in the Louisiana Insurance Guarantee Association after its backing by the state of Louisiana expires.[1][2]
