The Louisiana Zachary School System Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 20, 1999, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to allow the city of Zachary to form its own school system separate from the school district of East Baton Rouge Parish.[1][2]
