I will focus on housing affordability, housing supply, and work to build a strong, resilient economy in Pierce County for all families.
  • I am a leader who will listen and be focused on results that make communities vibrant. This is what you deserve. I will be strong advocate for fiscal responsibility and accountability. I am concerned about the direction on Pierce County. The past four years, we've seen rising crime, homelessness, drug issues, higher taxes, and great needs in many areas. With 10 years of policy background, I am committed to good policy in ALL policy areas to produce good outcomes for all people. I've worked at the House of Representatives (senior legislative assistant), the Pierce County Council (council assistant to the Chair), and am elected (2x) to the Steilacoom Historical School Board #1 and I am a proved, trusted leader focused on solutions to ensure Pierce County is a great place to live, work, and play.
My priority is to represent well the people who reside in our community. As a proven leader, I'm committed to listening and being engaged in the 6th District and Pierce County. I will lead with integrity and care for all people.
I love people. A core belief of mine is to treat others as I would wish to be treated. Treating people and community with excellence is a quality I aspire for everyday.
My greatest job to date is being a mother to my four wonderful kids and leading by 'example'. As a public official, my core responsibilities is to ensure I make high quality choices that make Pierce County a great place for all, especially our future generations.
Financial transparency and government accountability is paramount to the success of any organization or government. It is foundational to ensure we are able to provide the community important services the public deserves. Our county must ensure we steward public resources and funds with great importance.
