Lourdes Lozano
Lourdes Lozano was a member of the Hialeah City Council in Florida, representing Group I. Lozano assumed office in 2011. Lozano left office on November 8, 2019.
Lozano ran for re-election to the Hialeah City Council to represent Group I in Florida. Lozano lost in the primary on November 5, 2019.
Biography
Lozano was born on April 8, 1944, in Cruces, Cuba. She studied at the Escuela Normal de Maestros and University of Martha Abreu in Santa Clara, Cuba. After migrating to the United States, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Thomas University. Lozano worked for ARSCO International for over 15 years as plant manager, general manager and finally vice president. As of 2015, she worked at the Department of Children and Families and as a realtor.[1]

The city of Hialeah, Florida, held elections for city council on November 17, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 27, 2015.[2] In the Group 1 race, incumbent Lourdes Lozano was unopposed in the general election on November 17, 2015.[3]
