Lucas County Senior Services Tax Levy Referendum (2009)

The Lucas County Senior Services Tax Levy Referendum is a replacement levy referendum for funding services for senior citizens in Lucas County, Ohio. This referendum is for replacing a previous levy to fund senior services and facilities.

Text of measure

Shall Lucas County issue a replacement of a tax for the benefit of Lucas County for the purpose of PROVIDING OR MAINTAINING SENIOR CITIZENS SERVICES OR FACILITIES at a rate not exceeding forty-five hundredths (0.45) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to four and one-half cents ($0.045) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2009, first due in calendar year 2010?[1]
