Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I always admired Abraham Lincoln. Rosa Parks, Because I believe in justice and equal rights for all.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

"Lilies of the Field" movie like Sydney Poitier helping others. The last president of the Central American Federation Jose Francisco Morazan.

Truthfulness, sensibility, in touch with the reality of the way things are and what should be done to correct the wrongs still not fixed.

It may be beneficial, but not necessarily beneficial. Because they all started out fresh themselves. Some times people that do have previous experience in government or politics may not necessarily always be the best person for the job.

Yes. However, 4 years in the future might be a better term length to avoid elections so often and the costs.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

I believe there should be term limits, perhaps 4 terms for Senators ( 4 x 6 = 24 years maximum in office), and perhaps 12 terms for Representatives (2 x 12 = 24 years maximum in office).

If you are not currently a member of your party’s leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives, would you be interested in joining the leadership? If so, in what role?

Yes, in any helping way I may be of service.

Trey Gowdy.

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?

A female brought to this country when 2 months old, lived in this country all her life, she is now 30, and married to a US citizen, and she has 3 children born in USA, and yet she still needs to continue filing with the government to try to stay in USA.
