Lucy Solimon
Lucy Solimon is a judge for Division XXIX of the New Mexico 2nd Judicial District Court. Her current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Solimon (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division XXIX judge of the New Mexico 2nd Judicial District Court. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Solimon was first appointed to the court by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) on July 2, 2020.[1]
Education
Solimon earned her J.D. degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2007.[1]
Career
At the time of her appointment to the bench, Solimon was serving as the enforcement bureau chief for the New Mexico Workers Compensation Administration, where she had worked since 2018. Solimon's professional experience also includes working as a special assistant U.S. attorney for Laguna Pueblo. She was admitted to the New Mexico state bar in 2007.[1]
