I am a successful mother of two daughters whom attended FL Public Schools. My oldest daughter serve as Studio’s Director of Lake Sumter College and my youngest is police officer in DC. Aside from bringing 30 years of nonprofit administrative experience to the budget, I will also like to bring a multicultural approach to helping students from different backgrounds who have migrated or immigrated to the area. If we want new students to embrace our American Culture, we must give the the resources to do so. If elected, I would like to expand the Guardian Program to both staff and faculty in response to increasing safety concerns. I would also like to see the expansion of vocational programs in the schools as an alternative to other education paths for students.
