Zamora ran for election to the Deaf Smith County Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 7.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Romeo Ramirez, Major Barela, D.J. Wagner, Dennis Detten, Christopher Trusty and Ron Muller.
