Luke Evslin
Luke Evslin (Democratic Party) is a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 16. He assumed office on February 21, 2023. His current term ends on November 3, 2026.
Evslin (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Hawaii House of Representatives to represent District 16. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Gov. Joshua Green (D) appointed Evslin to replace former Rep. James Tokioka (D).[1]
Biography
Luke Evslin lives in Lihu'e, Hawaii. Evslin graduated from Kaua'i High School in 2003. He earned a B.A. in history from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in 2007 and an M.P.A. from the University of Southern California in 2020. Evslin's career experience includes co-founding Kamanu Composites and working as one of its managing partners, an American government and Hawaiian history teacher with Island School, and a columnist with the Honolulu Civil Beat.[2][3]
