Lyman Hoffman (Democratic Party) is a member of the Alaska State Senate, representing District S. He assumed office in 2003. His current term ends on January 19, 2027.
Hoffman (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Alaska State Senate to represent District S. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Hoffman was elected to serve as the Alaska State Senate Majority Leader on July 9, 2019. He served until January 2021.[1][2]
Prior to serving in the Alaska State Senate Hoffman served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1986 through 1990 and from 1993 through 1994. He was also the city manager of Bethel from 1977 to 1985.
Biography
Hoffman earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Alaska in 1974.
