Lynette Rinker
Lynette Rinker was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 98 of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
Lynette served as mayor pro-tem from December of 2009 until January, 2013. In January, 2013 she was sworn in as mayor of Cornelius.[1]
Biography
Rinker earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in business and history from the University of South Carolina. Her professional experience includes working as the Business Manager for Isaacs + Associates Architects, a Cornelius architecture firm, and as the Director of Budgets for Facilities Planning for the University of South Carolina.[1]

Elections
2014
Elections for the North Carolina House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Natasha Marcus was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while John Bradford defeated Lynette Rinker and Sharon Hudson in the Republican primary. Marcus was defeated by Bradford in the general election.[3][4]
