Lynn Bright was a district court judge in Montgomery County, Alabama. After nearly 25 years of service, she retired in October 2007.[1]

On October 31, 2016, Judge Bright was selected as one of seven retired judges to sit in place of the recused justices of the Alabama Supreme Court to hear the appeal of Chief Justice Roy Moore of his permanent suspension by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary.[2]
