K. Lynn Evans (Republican Party) is a member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 3. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. His current term ends on January 2, 2027.

Biography

Lynn Evans graduated from Aurelia High School.[1] Evans earned a B.S. in physical education/biology from Westmar College in 1986, an M.A. in educational leadership and administration from Drake University in 1996, and an Ed.S. in educational leadership and administration from Drake University in 2003.[2]

Evans' career experience includes working as an adjunct instructor with Buena Vista University, a customer service specialist with jmc, and the superintendent of Alta-Aurelia Community School District and the Hartley Melvin Sanborn CSD.[2] He has served as the vice president of the Alta Kiwanis Club, as the president and vice president of the Hartley Lion’s Club, and on the Alta-Aurelia Community Education Foundation Board.[3]
