I grew up in the tumultuous era of the Cultural Revolution in China, where I witnessed firsthand the constraints on individual freedom and the limitations imposed by a communist regime. Immigrating to this country with my parents was a profound transition, affording me the opportunity to embrace the principles of liberty and pursue my aspirations without fear of repression. My journey intertwined with that of my husband, a Vietnamese refugee, with whom I raised our three children in the vibrant community of Seattle.

Drawing from my background in architecture and design, I've long been engaged in service to our schools and community, recognizing the pivotal role of education in shaping our future. Yet, in recent years, I've been increasingly cognizant of the profound impact of government policies on our daily lives, particularly in areas of education, economy, and safety.

My campaign is rooted in a commitment to address these pressing issues, advocating for policies that prioritize the well-being and prosperity of our community. I believe in holding our government accountable to serve our interests and safeguard our civil liberties, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive in a society that values freedom and opportunity.
  • REDUCE Government Control & Increase Transparency

For decades, government has gained control and power at the expense of the governed. Today, as we are facing many financial and social hardships, the most distinct danger is still that we are losing our rights and individual freedoms. At the state legislature, bills such as 5599, which allows children to undergo gender transition without parental consent, have been passed.

Another recent bill mandates the removal of natural gas from homes, leaving us to rely solely on electricity. Many more similar laws are being passed every year.

I will be a champion for the citizens of Washington state by supporting and defending these rights.
  • RESTORE Quality Education Quality education necessitates a return to rigorous academic standards that prioritize core subjects such as history and classical literature. Focusing on a curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking and intellectual development. This approach values the timeless lessons found in historical events and classical texts, which provide essential context and understanding of our cultural and intellectual heritage. We must move away from the modern social agendas like social-emotional learning and Critical Race Theory, I will instead advocate for an educational system that fosters analytical skills, encourages deep critical thinking, and prepares students for thoughtful and informed participation in society.
  • Reclaim Parental Rights Parents, not the government, have the exclusive right and responsibility for raising their children—including education and social issues. My opponent helped pass legislation which allows government agencies to hide minors from their parents and/or guardians and provide gender-altering treatments without permission. I stand for the repeal of this law. Parents should decide how their children learn about faith, family, and sex education. No child should be indoctrinated in the classroom, school library, or open house.
REDEEM Public Safety

By ensuring the safety of all citizens, we will once again enjoy a more peaceful and prosperous society. I will advocate for, and support, our law enforcement officers, and will prioritize the implementation of effective crime prevention strategies.

RETURN Civil Liberties

U.S. Constitution and the Washington State Constitution outline these rights, yet our legislature has continued to enact laws that have infringed on those rights. I will work to return civil liberties and rights to the people.
Uphold loyalty to the federal and state constitution, as it serves as the paramount of law.
Serve the people, to provide and aid them to the best of our abilities.
I was born and lived in a very turbulent time in China, the Cultural Revolution. Under such a communist reign, freedom and rights were suppressed. As a school student, we were told what to learn, and not how to think, under such tyranny, we were taught false histories to potray our leader as a deity, and that no other religions were true. We were told that history was useless unless it told the legacies of our leader. Cultures that carried tradition for five millennia were destroyed under this reign, and families held no structure as a household.
In the present era, signs of a repeating Revolution are surfacing, this is where I thus carry my motivation as a legislator: to ensure the people have the freedom that I was denied.
