Lynn W. Brown was a criminal court judge of the First Judicial District in Tennessee (Carter, Johnson, Unicoi and Washington counties). He has served in this position since 1988. In 2006, he was re-elected without opposition.[1][2][3] Brown retired at the end of March 2013.[4]

Education

Brown received his received his B.A. degree from Maryville College and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1976. He has also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee.[1][5]
