Lynne A. Pierce
Lynne A. Pierce was a judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court. She left office in 2022.
Pierce ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Pierce was elected to the court on November 4, 2008, and assumed office in January 2009.[1][2] On November 4, 2014, Pierce was re-elected unopposed for another six-year term.[3]
Biography
Education
Pierce received her J.D. degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1979.[2]
Career
Pierce served as a municipal court judge for Grosse Point Shores, Michigan, for twelve years and then as a municipal court judge for Grosse Pointe Woods for sixteen years before she was elected to the 3rd Circuit Court in 2008. She also previously served as a visiting judge in Wayne County.[2]
