Lynne Kawamoto
Lynne Kawamoto was an associate judge on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] She was the first Asian-American judge to serve an Illinois state court when she was appointed to the bench in 1991.[2]
Kawamoto was reappointed for a four-year term that began on July 1, 2011, and was set to expire on June 30, 2015.[3] However, Kawamoto retired from the bench on August 7, 2013.[2]
