J. Mac Davis was a judge of the Waukesha County Circuit Court in Wisconsin.[1] Davis was elected to the court in 1990.[2] He did not run for re-election in 2015, and retired when his term ended on July 31, 2015.[3]

Davis also served as the chief judge of the 3rd Judicial District.[4] He was relieved of that position in June 2012, however, after serving the maximum six-years as chief.[5]

Education

Davis received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1973 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1976.[2]

Career

Federal judicial nomination

Davis was nominated to the federal judiciary by George W. Bush, but the nomination was blocked by the Senate.[6]
