Mack Latimer is a West Point graduate, combat veteran, and small business owner in Bell County, Texas. After finishing his service to the Army, Mack was elected chair of the Bell County Republican Party. As Chair, Mack focused on election integrity and building unity within the party. He resigned from the Party in 2023 to run for the U.S. House of Representatives. He is an active member of his community, serving on the Boards of the Military Officers Association of America and the Temple Founder Lions Club and serving as a deacon at Grace Bible Church. Mack is married to Assistant District Attorney Laura Beth Latimer and father to one daughter, Kira.
  • Mack is running to improve our military for soldiers, their families, and communities surrounding military posts.
  • Mack is running to balance our budget and get the national debt under control.
  • Mack is running to secure our border and fix our broken immigration system.
As the son two veterans and a combat veteran himself, Mack is passionate about the military and its operations. He has seen the corruption and bureaucracy of the modern military firsthand and has fought back and won. Additionally, he lives in Bell County, Texas, home to the largest military installation in the world. He sees the heavy impact of the post on the surrounding community, and hopes to advocate for the improvement of these communities nationwide.

Mack is also deeply passionate about shrinking the size and scope of the federal government. For nearly a hundred years, the federal government has been exponentially increasing in size and the federal debt has ballooned to nearly $34 trillion dollars. Mack is a firm believer in cutting spending, balancing the budget, and limiting the government to operations expressly enumerated in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution.

Finally, Mack is passionate about securing the border. As the husband of a prosecutor, Mack is acutely aware of the steady influx of organized crime seeping across the Southern border. He firmly believes that the solution is to promptly secure the border and fix the perverse incentives caused by our current immigration system.

Campaign website

Latimer’s campaign website stated the following:

STOP WASTEFUL SPENDING
Joe Biden & the Democrats are pushing our country into economic collapse with out of control spending and inflation-causing policies. Even with a balanced budget today, we are still on track to pay twice as much on interest payments than we do on defense spending. That’s over $5,000 per person per year. Our families and businesses need relief – I support the Freedom Caucus budget to bring true economic reform to Washington.

FINISH THE WALL
Without a strong border, we fail to offer the basic protections that a government should; we must end the invasion. That starts with finishing the wall, reinforcing border patrol, and sending illegals to the back of the line. Joe Biden’s open border is flooding our state with crime and is driving families’ wages down. Anyone who comes to the US by any means other than the legal immigration process is breaking the laws of our country and must be subjected to the consequences of their actions.

DEFEND LIBERTY
Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are under attack. Conservative voices are being stifled online by the government controlling Big Tech, the federal government continues to balloon in size while the states lose their power, and Joe Biden is overreaching into our lives through unlawful executive orders. I’ll take the fight to Washington and remind the DC Elites that it is We The People who hold the power.

PROTECT THE 2ND AMENDMENT
Without the Second Amendment, the rest of the provisions in the Constitution are powerless. Democrats and leftists continue to attempt to take our guns and strip us of one of our most crucial protections. The Second Amendment could not be more clear, “Shall not be infringed” means “Shall not be infringed.” In Washington, I’ll never back down from the fight to ensure our right to keep and bear arms is protected.

FIGHT FOR OUR VETERANS
To remain as the most powerful military power in the world, we must fairly compensate our troops, modernize our military, stop wasteful spending, and put America First. I have experienced and seen the problems our soldiers face first-hand. In Washington, I will work tirelessly to ensure our troops are appreciated, protected, and treated fairly.[2]
