My name is MACK MILLER and I was born and raised in Las Vegas. As a Las Vegas native, I've grown a strong bond to this community and those who visit and make it their home and I am proud to be a part of the entrepreneurial, philanthropic and civil rights community of Las Vegas.

I have spent my life serving Nevada to the best of my ability and am the founder of the Clark County Bar Associations Trial By Peers Program, a program that teaches our youth about the Law and the Juvenile Justice System, likewise; I was the first Trial By Peers youth attorney/counselor in Nevada to try a criminal case through that program.

Expanding my service to the community I became a certified Combat Life Saver, received my certification in Developing and Managing Volunteers in a time of crisis from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) National & Local Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Continuing with my goal to serve this community I have volunteered my services to multiple causes in the community, from the Salvation Army to Sitting on the boards of a number of civil rights and community organizations like the Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.) , Americas oldest Civil Rights Organization where I am the first African/Black American to be elected to the Board in its 124 year history.

I am Mack Miller
  • I support the U.S. Constitution
  • I support Education, business growth and family safety.
  • I support Veterans, first responders and will work to ensure they can do their jobs safely
Defending the Constitution, Nevada's education system, more specifically funding ESA's and supporting trades again, since those are jobs that cant be exported. Employment; Supporting businesses and legislation that encourages growth and hiring.

Educating parents. Moreso, requiring the education of future parents. There was a time when there was home economics, the old care for an egg for a semester, etc. Well, I am NOT averse to that. However, Nevada is an egg of another sort, we are a transient State and have an ever-growing ESL population which actually takes our average scores down. We need not pass students for the sake of passing them if they can't pass a test...fail them simple as that. If students fail to attend class, get more aggressive with holding their parents accountable.

Sir Winston Churchill and Justice Thoroughgood Marshall Marshall. Both did not quit and weren't always on what people thought was the correct side of history or for that matter fighting a fight that could be won. Ultimately, both men overcame and aspired to the heights we now know to be historical.

Never, never, never quit!
- Sir Winston Churchill

We can always stick together when we are losing, but tend to find means of breaking up when we're winning. In Grace Under Pressure.
- Justice Thoroughgood Marshall

Justice Marshall's statement is so true in today's America. Obama seemed to get people together pitching a loss, but HOPE, after President Trump's election our nation began winning and it was all we could do to try and find a way of breaking up our nation .
To represent the wishes of the constituents and not your own. Using your education and respective judgment is one thing, but going against the wishes of those who entrusted you to represent them is a no go.
My first job was actually volunteering in the Clark County Bar Association which is when I started Trial By Peers a juvenile criminal diversion program. This was for 2 years as a teenager, it lead to me working in a law firm as a runner, file and copy clerk, as well as a receptionist and legal assistant. I remained employed with that local firm for another 2 years until I moved away to college.
Currently, the divide in policy and party for a state that is traditionally conservative and since Nevada is a State that houses many refugees from California.
Not necessarily, at times we need fresh ideas and those able to think outside the box. Often times thinking inside the box can be destructive. Generally elected officials have term limits, but the staff or the beaurocrats work for all parties and different style electeds.
Education and getting our economy back on track after its closure during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Of course! No matter the party, one must be able to listen and understand the perspective of other representatives' arguments on behalf of their constituents. Any opportunity to negotiate must be taken advantage of in order to successfully represent those of whom have entrusted me to represent them.
