Mack Shirley (b. July 24, 1933) is a former Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 34A from 2002 to 2012.

Mack earned his Bachelor's degree from Ricks College in 1955 and later earned his Master's and Doctoral degrees from the University of Utah in 1957 and 1971.

Mack is a retired educator and former President of Brigham Young University.

Shirley won re-election to District Seat 34A in 2010 with no opposition. He defeated Dan Roberts in the Republican primary on May 25th by a margin of 4,572 to 2,610. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Republican Mack Shirley won re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives District 34A receiving 84.1% of the vote (14,732 votes), ahead of Constitutionalist Dan Roberts who received 15.9% of the vote (2,777 votes).[3]
