A Mad River School District Levy Addition measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the Mad River school district area which is in Preble and Montgomery Counties.
The measure was approved
- YES 2,028 (53.54%)
- NO 1,760 (46.46%)[1]
This measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of $.59 per $100 of assessed property value for a continuing period of time in order to further pay for current operatinal costs in the school district.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| An additional tax for the benefit of the Mad River Local School District for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 5.9 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.59 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
