- Implementing a Green New Deal in Rhode Island will protect us from the threat of climate change but also create a new economy that provides good paying jobs for the people of Rhode Island.
- District 37 lacks affordable housing. It affects many things, our local economy, our school districts and the culture of our community. We must create a more broad base of residents to make sure our communities stay vibrant.
- We must have a Living Wage set in Rhode Island. Right now the minimum wage set to afford a two bedroom apartment is $24/hour. We must raise our minimum wage to at least $15/hour so Rhode Island can compete with surrounding states, improve employee retention for small, local businesses and to grow our economy by putting more money into the wallets of people who spend their money at local businesses.
