A Magnolia Village Current Expenses Tax Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Stark County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Village of Magnolia to impose a replacement property tax levy of up to 2 mills ($2 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund the current expenses of the Village.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Magnolia for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding two (2) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2]
