Maine Human Rights Act Amendment did not appear on the November 2, 2010 statewide ballot in Maine. The proposed measure called for removing protections based on sexual orientation from the Maine Human Rights Act. The measure was not certified for circulation.
Path to the ballot
In order to place the measure on the 2010 ballot a minimum of 55,087 valid signatures were required by February 1, 2010.
