The Maine Legislature Travel Expenses Referendum, also known as Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 2, was on the September 13, 1948 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure allowed for the reimbursement of travel expenses to and from the legislature once each week of the legislature session.[2] This amended Section 7 of Article IV, Part Third of the Maine Constitution.[3]
