The Maine Old Age Assistance and Minimum Education Referendum, also known as Referendum Question, was on the August 16, 1937 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred state statute, where it was defeated. The measure related to programs to provide assistance to the elderly, to establish and provide a minimum level of education and to provide funding for such projects.[1][2]
