Maine School, Technical and Vocational Centers Construction, Referendum Question No. 7 (1969)
The Maine School, Technical and Vocational Centers Construction Bond Issue, also known as Referendum Question No. 7, was on the November 4, 1969 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure provided $9.8 million in bonds for state subsides of elementary and secondary school building construction, as well as $800,000 for subsidizing regional technical and vocational school building construction.[2]
Background
In 1967, a similar measure issued $6.38 million for school building construction and $270,000 for construction of regional technical and vocational centers.[3]
