Maine Standard Time, Question No. 1 (1925)

The Maine Standard Time People's Veto, also known as Question No. 1, was on the December 7, 1925 ballot in Maine as a veto referendum, where it was approved. The measure established the standard time in Maine as based on the mean astronomical time of the seventy-fifth degree of longitude west from Greenwich, also known as Standard Eastern Time.[1][2][3]
