The Maine State Teachers Colleges Student Housing Referendum, also known as Referendum Question No. 3, was on the November 5, 1963 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued up to $1.433 million in bonds to build student housing at the state teachers colleges.[2]

REFERENDUM QUESTION NO. 3

"Shall 'An Act to Authorize the Construction of Self-Liquidating Student Housing for the State Teachers Colleges and the Issuance of not Exceeding $1,433,000 Bonds of the State of Maine for the Financing Thereof,' passed by the 101st Legislature, be accepted?" [3]
